Pick n Pop screen animations created in After Effects. Characters for these screens can be fun animating, but not always. The penguins were a blast to animate, but the polar bears were challenging. The bears posture didn't really lend itself to interesting animations. I try make every animation fun and impactful, but the art provided doesn't always have animation in mind.

Art created by the artists at Aries.

Super Steamin' Hot was the first slot game I worked on about six years ago at AGS. The 3D elements were created by myself and another artist. The animations were created in Maya and After Effects. This video was created before the game was finished and does not have the polish that the completed game has.

Were I to animate this today, It would be a lot more powerful and impactful. I would definitly punch up the tempo on the symbol animations and better steam animations. I didn't have Particular at AGS. Particular isn't necessary for animations, but it sure helps with creating great effects and animations. Not to mention the time saving the plugin provides.

Blazing Emeralds was a game I animated at Aries. Attract videos were created to show features of the game. The art was created by Aries artists. Animations created in After Effects.

I taught a lighting class and grabbed some models off of Creative Crash to put together a scene for students to lite. The assignment was to create three scenes representing different times of day, day, night, and sunset.

These are the examples I lit myself for examples for the class to understand what was being asked of them.

The scene was created in Maya. I created the materials and the majority of the textures. It was rendered with Arnold.
